Samantha Leonard is a South African singer born and raised in Kimberley. She began singing at a very young age and developed her talent through school performances, competitions, and musical theatre.

She gained national recognition in 2017 as a contestant on the TV show The Voice South Africa (Season 2). Her blind audition earned a four-chair turn from the coaches, and she went on to finish third overall on Team Karen. Her performances showcased her powerful vocals and strong stage presence.

In 2022, she won the music competition Die Kontrak 2, which awarded her a recording contract and further boosted her career.
