Based: Johannesburg

The Sousaphonics were formed in 2011 as an Oompa band and over the years become known as one of the finest party bands on the continent.They are the resident house band for the Angola Oktoberfest and Lowveld Beer Festival and regularly perform for beer festivals and at various functions.

The Bands led by Bis Roberts and all members are full-time professional musicians, together wth Book Ntsime (a former top 4 idol contestant , who has been constantly performing for 12 years) perform with the country’s top artists such as Mango groove, Mi Casa, Jimmy Dludlu, TKzee and Mafikizolo, to name a few. They are also resident musicians with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
