Based: Cape Town

Sinesipho was born and bred in King Williams Town, in the Eastern Cape (South Africa) where her love for music started. From watching choir concerts where her parents would sing choral and operatic pieces, to singing in competitions where she represented either her school and local choirs, or even the province during national events, her passion kept on growing in leaps and bounds.

Having finished her matric, she then enrolled at the South African College of Music in the University of Cape Town in 2015. The following year saw her travel to Argentina with Cape Town Opera’s production of Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess as a chorus member.

In 2018, she took part in the Artscape Youth Festival with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, and in April 2019 she traveled to Switzerland to perform in a production called Elegy, which was about people who were brutally killed for their sexuality. Late in 2019, Sinesipho was casted as Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff during the opera scenes that were done by the UCT Opera School.

She was a 3rd Prize winner in the finals of the Schock Foundation Prize for Singing Competition held at the Baxter Concert Hall the same year.
After a successful completion of her Advanced Diploma in Opera with a Dean’s Merit Award, Sinesipho finished her Post Graduate Diploma studies with distinction in December 2021 and graduated in March 2022. She was under the guidance of Mr Patrick Tikolo at the UCT College of Music.

In 2024 she performed the Brahms requiem with Richard Cock and the Phoenix Orchestra and performed in an 5 night concert/production with Richard Cock and the Mzansi Tenors where she did small portions of Violetta(La Traviatta) and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi)

She has recently performed and awarded a certificate for giving a distinctive performance in the 9th annual Joburg Choral Festival in Joburg theatre.

In 2025 she has shared the stage with Judith Sephuma, conducted by Richard Cock and has participated in the UNISA National Voice Competition where she was a semifinalist. She performed at the G20 Sunmit for the president of South Africa. She sang the Italian National anthem during the during the rugby tests in July 2025.

She is recently a UNISA International Voice Competition participant where she shared the stage with many international musicians.
