Born Nomshado Mthombeni in Madadeni Township Newcastle Kwa Zulu Natal, Shado M is popularly known for her hit song “Inhliziyo Yami Ithi Hey” Shado M’s passion for music developed when she was still in High School and as a result, she sang in local choirs and as a lead vocalist in her church choir. Eager to grow as a musician , she decided to source out beats from local producers across KZN. It was in 2017 were she realised her ability to write her own music and started recording demos with different producers.

She cut her teeth as a professional musician under Boss Entertainment, an independent record label when she dropped her break through single in 2018 titled ‘Inhliziyo Yami Ithi Hey’. The song ran the streets, topped the charts, went on to reach over a million views on Youtube penetrating the digital space, making Shado M a household name. Wamuhle is the brand new single from Shado M’s upcoming album set to drop later this year. The Afro Pop song features Riich & Lindo and showcases Shado M’s versatility as a musician and a writer.

As a philanthropist and with her understanding of the struggles faced by many black communities, having had experience in those struggles too, Shado M strongly believes in always giving back and being of great assistance to those communities and organisations who are in need. She participates in CSI projects and has a vision of starting her own campaign with Boss Entertainment for the purpose of raising funds and supporting communal organisations, schools and homes
