Based: Cape Town

Janice is a vivacious singer, songwriter born and raised in the Mother City, Cape Town. Like most successful artists she grew up singing in church and took lead roles in school performance groups, choirs and musicals.

In 2008 at the age of 17yrs, she entered a well-known South African singing competition and made it to the Top 70. Janice did not make it to the final rounds – Feeling rejected and despondent she chose to no longer pursue her singing career. It was not until a few years later, when her childhood friend Jimmy Nevis asked her to join his band as a backing vocalist.In 3 years Janice has toured with Nevis and backed other artists such as Loyiso Bala and various International Gospel Acts.
