Ian Thomas is a South African motivational and keynote speaker, business strategist, author, wildlife photographer and former game ranger. With more than two decades of experience studying and working with lions in the African wilderness, he has developed a unique approach to leadership, teamwork, resilience and business performance.
A business graduate, Ian spent many years working as a game ranger and studying the behaviour and social dynamics of lions at close quarters. He uses these experiences to draw practical parallels between the way lion prides function and how successful teams and organisations operate.
Ian is the author of The Power of the Pride, a bestselling business and leadership book that explores the lessons businesses can learn from lions and their highly structured social systems. His keynote presentations, including The Power of the Pride and The Spoor of Success, combine wildlife photography, real-life stories, humour and business insights.
Ian has presented to companies and audiences in more than 30 countries and is available for conferences, corporate events, leadership programmes, workshops and motivational speaking engagements.
