Internationally recognised choreographer and DJ Courtnae’ Paul is a powerhouse who has grown to be a respected force in the industry.
Having just released her debut DJ EP featuring some of SA’s top talent, such as Holly Rey, Gigi LaMayne, Moozlie, Manu WorldStar, Benny Afroe and Boskasie, Courtnaé see’s no limits in sight.
After started 2020 off with a bang as a headline DJ and the official choreographer for the Sun Met, choreographer for YFM TVC and for the second time, guest choreographer of the DSTV MVC Awards, Courtnaé didn’t let the country wide lock-down slow her down.
Lockdown saw her blazing the decks of Channel O’s Lockdown House Party, the Get Together Experience on Metro FM and Sabc 1, releasing her debut EP, and also launching her first online show titled Spare Room Sessions which has amassed over 450,000 in total viewers. This show sees Courtnaé interviewing someone of the country’s biggest artists such as Lady Zamar, Youngsta, Focalistic, Moonchild Sanelley, Shekhinah and many more.
Courtnaé, the 28 year old Durban native, has seen her fair share of the world, having travelled to 19 countries and being booked in six new countries in 2019 alone. She’s also headlined an NYE event in Dubai, and taught workshops from Thailand, to Bali, Cairo, Mozambique, Nigeria, The Seychelles and The Netherlands.
She has also opened for, and shared the stage with international artists such as Lil Wayne, Pitbull, Fatman Scoop, Rae Sremmurd, Burna Boy and Omarion, as well as toured, choreographed and performed with local artists such as Kwesta, Moonchild Sanelly, Sho Madjozi, Khuli Chana and AKA to name a few.
She has even DJ’ed / spoken at a Miss S.A. regional qualifier, and choreographed a welcome for Sir Richard Branson.
Courtnae’ also has a strong passion for business and runs an entertainment company that specialises in all things performance, creative direction and conceptualisation.
CP Entertainment (Pty) Ltd services both the commercial and corporate industries with clients spanning from top local and international artists, to advertising agencies, corporate year ends and award shows. CPE sees Courtnae’ drawing on her experience to create and produce first class entertainment offerings tailored to every clients specific needs.
CPE’s most recent projects include the Engen F1 Drive-In Cinema, the Dstv MVC Awards 2020, YFM 2020 TVC, JOOX takeover at the Sun Met 2020, Heineken Conference 2020, Estee Lauder S.A’s Inclusion and Diversity Week, and the VS Gaming Festival.
