Timo ODV (born February 13, 1990, as Timothy Oude Vrielink) is a South African DJ, music producer and recording artist.
He was born and raised in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2015 he signed with Universal Music, he quickly rose to fame later that year with the release of his dedut single “Save Me” which quickly became the most played song on South African radio. The song peaked at number four on the Afstereo Top 100 and number 1 on 5fm top 40. In 2016, Timothy was nominated for Amstel Record of the Year during the South African Music Awards, later that year he was nominated for MTV Africa Music Award for Best Pop & Alternative.
He released his first studio album Origins on 2nd of September 2016 it featured the hit songs “Dancing Again” and “I need you”. In 2017 Timothy was again nominated for a South African Music Award this time for album of the year for his album titled Origins
