Buhlebendalo’s life long dream has always been to release her SOLO ALBUM and collaborate with all musicians she admires including Madala Kunene, Simphiwe Dana to mention a few. She describes herself or her music as ISIGQI SAKWANTU, which is influenced by her calling as a SANGOMA, the process she went through to become a healer and her culture. To Buhlebendalo all genres do it for her, as they tend to match her every mood and this is mostly revealed when she is performing on stage as she let loose and let the spirits and the mood take over. BUHLEBENDALO introduced her solo music career to a massive audience in the month of April and May 2019 where she performed at the Birchwood Jazz Comes Alive concert alongside Judith Sephuma on the 12th April 2019, performed at The Bassline Live Festival alongside ASA and Mr. Eazi from Nigeria on the 25th May 2019 and she was one of the artists who got Live broadcast coverage on SABC TV. She closed the month of May with a performance on the 31st May 2019 at Zakifo Festival in Durban alongside World’s greatest and well known musicians such as Ben Harper, Beatenberg, ASA, Moonchild and Sho Madjozi.
