Beat-Route is a traditional acoustic swing jazz combo featuring Daniel Sheldon on trumpet and percussion, Gerald Sloan on Guitar and vocals, Logan Byrne on Upright Bass and Mr Tony Muirhead on Drums. The band has, over its 6 years, developed an extensive repertoire of originals, standards, grooves, Latin and Afro tunes executed with professional style in the jazz idiom, and built up a solid reputation playing countless corporate events, Weddings and fairs.
Their sound is best suited for sophisticated cocktail type events where people want a polite, classy and certainly seductive background show which still allows for conversation and networking without strain. We can and do often perform almost entirely without our PA system but for bigger events just give our unique and nuanced sound a sleight boost.

The band also augments adding vocals/sax/keys as and when the need allows.
