Sibongile is a dynamic broadcaster, MC, columnist, writer, and social media influencer.

She has been in radio for over 10 years, starting out at the campus radio station at Rhodes University, Rhodes Music Radio, and then eventually making the leap to commercial radio after varsity.

She has been a spirited part of the Kfm 94.5 morning family for 6 years as a co-host and sports anchor and has he distinct honour of waking up the Western Cape every morning from 6-9am on the biggest morning radio show in the region: Kfm Mornings.

Sibongile is a seasoned MC who has worked on stages across the country, from the Cape Town Jazz Festival to conferences, music festivals, award shows and symposiums.

She’s also a funny, thought-provoking columnist and writer who has contributed work for some of SA’s most renowned publications. She has a keen interest in the wine and beverages industry and has a vibrant wine video series on Pick n Pay’s YouTube channel called Glass Act. That video series spawned Pick n Pay’s new beverages magazine – Glass Act.

Sibongile is a hilarious blogger and owner of one of the most popular Twitter accounts in South Africa. She was voted as one of W24’s (formerly Women24) Top Tastemakers for 2016 for women making waves on the social media in South Africa.

Having broken through the male-dominated field of sports journalism, the world certainly needs more women like Sibongile, a fierce believer in the collective interests of women.
