Rocco de Villiers is a renowned South African pianist, composer, producer and entertainer celebrated for his distinctive instrumental style and engaging stage presence. Over the course of his career he has built a reputation for dynamic piano performances that blend original compositions with innovative interpretations of popular classics.

After completing a Bachelor of Music (Education) at the University of the Free State in 1987, Rocco moved to Johannesburg where he became musical director of the well-known cabaret venue Club 58 in Hillbrow. He later established his own production company, RoccoroccoMusic, through which he develops and produces his stage productions and recordings.

Rocco has released numerous instrumental albums and created more than 35 instrumental stage productions, many of which have toured extensively across South Africa. His recordings, including Beautiful Beautiful Piano, More Beautiful Piano and Stunning, achieved gold and platinum status, while his work has earned nominations and awards including the Huisgenoot Tempo Award, Ghoema Award, Vonk Award and South African Music Award nominations.

In addition to his concert career, Rocco has composed music for television and film, produced television series and documentaries, and appeared as a presenter on several programmes. With his charismatic personality and distinctive piano style, Rocco de Villiers continues to captivate audiences with performances that combine musical excellence with warmth and entertainment.
