RetroZone is the Ultimate Retro party Band. They specialize in pop music from the 70’s and 80’s and create the perfect setting for your themed event! Most importantly they love what they do and have a whole lot of fun while doing it. You can’t help but get caught up in the hype…it’s contagious!

Operating primarily as a 5 or 6-piece band, with the ability to scale down to a quartet or trio if budget is limited, the band consists of Lynne Poulsen (Vocals and Keyboards), Jandre Spangenberg (Vocals, Keyboards, Guitar, Perc), Richard Hala (Vocals, Perc), Warren Sayer (Guitar), Kevin Gibson (Drums) and Justin Maree (Bass Guitar and Synth Bass).

These musicians are all top professionals in the South African music industry with years of experience between them, and they have joined forces to bring you top notch, quality entertainment. With 4 lead vocalists in the band, they can reproduce some powerhouse vocal work such as For the Longest Time – Billy Joel, music of The Eagles and Queen. The repertoire includes all your favourite party tunes, including songs such as Everybody wants to rule the world – Tears for Fears, Dancing on the Ceiling – Lionel Richie, Flashdance – Irene Cara, Glory Days – Bruce Springsteen, The Look – Roxette, Billy Jean – Michael Jackson, 99 Red Balloons – Nena, Sledgehammer – Peter Gabriel, Abracadabra – Steve Miller Band, Moneys too tight too mention – Simply Red, What about Love – Heart….. to name just a few!
