Reinhardt Buhr started his musical career in 2010 and quickly became known for his live shows around South Africa. After only a few months he opened for one of South Africa’s biggest and best selling rock bands, Prime Circle, and has since also opened the stage for various other leading artists like Arno Carstens and the Parlotones to name a few.

Reinhardt Buhr has released 15 albums since 2010. However, in each album you can clearly notice how his inspiration has driven him to evolve the sounds of his music.

He blends the sounds of the Flamenco guitar’s unpredictable rhythms with the ancient harmonies of the Australian didgeridoo, the ethereal sounds of  the electric cello, the majestic sounds of the Israeli Shofar, a synthesizer, percussion & vocals. He records all these sounds live via a live looping station, until it sounds like you’re listening to a big instrumental orchestra. The sounds created by Reinhardt Buhr touches the heart, revives your soul and leaves your imagination refueled.
