Nadine Sisam, is a 28-year old vocalist/performer from Cape Town. She was bitten by the theatre bug about 10 years ago. With her eclectic ear and classically trained background she is capable of adapting her vocals to suit any genre. Her versatility coupled with the fact that her small frame belies her big voice, makes her a force to be reckoned with in the industry. Nadine has “The Sky is the Limit” attitude and is driven by her passion for singing and entertaining people everywhere. Nadine was recently in The 1st Season of The Voice South Africa, where she wowed people across SA with her powerful and ‘crispy clear’ Voice.
BACKGROUND:
1999 – 2005: Vocal training for 7 years at high school level and studied classical music. Also participated in the yearly Cape Town Eisteddfods from 2001 achieving 2 Gold diplomas, 6 Honors and 1 Merit.
2001 – 2003: Performed in the KFM Voice Search Competitions at Westgate Mall and made the semi-finals on 2 occasions.
2004: Performed in the school music production of ‘Grease’ and performed a solo and in the chorus too.
March 2005: Wrote and produced two amateur demo tracks.
August 2005: Made the Top 32 of the SA Idols III Singing Competition on MNET
January to June 2006: Certificate in Music Production course at Cape Audio College and wrote and performed her own track for a group production.
January 2007- January 2008: Studied Costume, Make up and Styling (CMS), and Music Performance at AFDA Film School, Observatory, Cape Town.
2011: Released her own cover CD – “My Octopus Garden”

10 March 2011: Performed at the Total Awards Ceremony for Big Talk Entertainment in the production “Best of Broadway” show at the CTICC.
15 March to July 2011: Performed in the Barnyard Theatre production ‘Super Troupers’ in Vereeniging, Boksburg & Menlyn, Johannesburg
July 2011 to June 2012: Performed in the Barnyard Theatre production ‘Big Top Rock” in Sun City, Durban, Johannesburg & Cape Town.
July 2012 – August 2012: Lead vocalist in the production “What a Feeling” at the Roxy Review Bar, Grand West – a tribute to the dance musicals Flash Dance, Footloose, Grease and Fame.
September 2012 – December 2012: Performed in the Barnyard Theatre production ‘Big Top Rock” in Sun City, Durban, Johannesburg & Cape Town.
September to November 2013: Female vocalist in the Paloma Band “Sizzle” at the Inter-Continental Hotel in Doha, Qatar.
January 2014 – December 2014: Performed in the Barnyard Theatre production ‘Time Warp” at various theatres in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
June 2015 to August 2015: Lead vocalist on the Romantica cruise liner between Sweden and Estonia.
October 2015 to December 2015: Female vocalist in the Barnyard production “80’s Rewind”
January 2016 to 6 March 2016: Female vocalist in the Barnyard Latin Show production “La Vida” at Gateway Durban
