Musa Kalenga is Formerly Client Partner for Facebook Africa. Prior to that he was the Group Head: Digital Marketing at Nedbank. He is also the Head of Brands for IAB South Africa (Formerly DMMA).

Prior to his appointment with Nedbank, Musa was Managing Director at IHOP WORLD – a content, social media and influencer and experiential marketing company. His endeavour with Ihop was a result of a Merger between the agency he founded; Monatefellaz and A division of the Brand Leadership Group. In 2010, Musa qualified as the youngest Chartered Marketer (SA) in South Africa and Africa.

In 2012, Musa Kalenga was voted one of the Top 200 young South Africans by the Mail & Guardian. At the age of 28, Musa Kalenga is a sought after speaker, lauded strategist and digital marketing thinker.

Between 2003 and 2011, Musa was the founding member and Chief Executive of Monatefellaz – a youth research strategy and Activation Company. During that period, Musa was hailed as a marketing fundi by Sunday World newspaper and has received much acclaim for his work, including an unprecedented three nominations for the prestigious Black Business Quarterly Awards in 2008.

Musa became the first Chairman of the Youth Advertising Board of South Africa in 2005, enabling him to further advance his dedication to the youth empowerment cause by initiating a number of youth-related topical debates and discussions.

Musa Kalenga obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce with double majors in Marketing and Advanced Management at WITS University in 2007.
