Known for her magnetic personality and inimitable talent, Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini embodies a brand of her own and has earned herself the title of South Africa’s Diamond with over 9.3 Million followers both on Instagram and Twitter.

Over the course of her celebrated career as a media and broadcasting powerhouse, she has broken a number of records and risen to spectacular heights, one of which includes being the first South African celebrity to cross the one million follower mark on Instagram. This all started in 2010 when her captivating energy and determination culminated in her winning a competition to be the presenter of a leading music show called LIVE, which launched her as a renowned personality across a host of

platforms.

She then went on to become the face of a string of notable shows including SABC’s Soccerzone, Tropika Island of Treasure Seychelles . She was also appointed as the co-host of SuperSport’s Homeground in 2017, which is simulcast on Mzansi Magic.

In 2023, she hosted Curated By Tanquery, a lifestyle magazine show on Mzansi Magic and in 2024 she hosted Love Never Lies on Netflix, an international reality TV show format.
Beyond television screens, Minnie has graced the cover pages of numerous high-profile publications including
Glamour, GQ, Grazia and became the first ever dual cover on the iconic South African TrueLove magazine. These appearances are testament to the wide attention that she draws through her infectious essence.

Her prominence in the awards scene has put her at the forefront of some of the most celebrated events on the African calendar, including the South African Music Awards (SAMAs); the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs); Miss South Africa and the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs), which is the largest platform through which film and television talent are highlighted on the continent. In 2020 she hosted the prestigious Dstv Viewers Choice Awards. 

In addition, she has presented at the coveted BET awards in Los Angeles and her appearance at the PSL Awardsmade such an impression that it cemented her as the host of the prestigious occasion for a further four consecutive years.
In 2024 she hosted the 30th South African Music Awards, bringing her signature charisma and grace to the event. Her ability to connect with the audience and highlight the achievements of artists across the country was widely praised. Her presence added a touch of glamour and excitement to the ceremony, making it a memorable night for all attendees.

As multi-talented as she is, Minnie has even conquered the small screen as an actress in the country’s most distinguished shows – Generations, The  Wild and Rockville as well as on the big screen in her film debut as Lu in Honeymoon 

She was a panelist at the Forbes Woman Leading Women Summit 2025 and won an award for Excellence in Entertainment, reflecting her significant impact on the industry. 

Drawing on her remarkable success in the entertainment industry, Minnie Dlamini founded her own production company, Beautiful Day Productions, which has swiftly made a name for itself. The company produced the hit pilot series “Becoming Mrs. Jones”, the competition reality show “Spirit of Mzansi” and two captivating Showmax movies, “Goodbye Gogo” and “No Love Lost” along with a viewer-generated content show for Channel O titled “Own The O”. Additionally, Beautiful Day Productions excels in creating engaging advertisements, digital content, and event coverage, collaborating with prominent brands such as Jaguar/Land Rover, Sanlam, Multichoice, and Joox.
