Marnus’s musical journey took a pivotal turn at the age of 14 when he secured his first contract with Sun International at Mmabatho Sun in the North West Province. This early success marked the beginning of an illustrious career that has seen him grace prestigious venues across South Africa.
In the heart of Gauteng, Marnus’s piano melodies have resonated through renowned establishments like “The Michelangelo” in Sandton and the sophisticated “Marc Anthony Bar” at Emperors Palace. His captivating performances extend to Cape Town, where he has left an indelible mark at “The Westin” during festive seasons, entertained at Mount Nelson for wine tastings, and lent his artistry to venues such as Pepper Club and The Rockwell Hotel.
Since 2018, Marnus has held the prestigious position of the permanent full-time daily pianist at The One&Only Cape Town, curating an unparalleled musical experience for patrons.
