LA BOUM! is an up-and-coming event band from Cape Town featuring the vocal talents of musical theatre performers Chad Baai and Zoë McLaughlin. Both these charismatic performers have starred in numerous South African musical theatre productions and frequently appear in local film and television. Chad was last seen on stage as Ritchie Valens in the Buddy Holly Show in 2022 and Zoë has performed as leading lady in numerous musical theatre productions since 2019. She also worked extensively with South Africa rock legend Mike McCully for two years and performs regularly as a solo vocalist. LA BOUM! consists of a line-up of Cape Town’s finest musicians under the direction of veteran music director Jaco Griessel.

With a diverse set-list that includes everything from classic Motown and RnB hits to contemporary pop, international to local, all arranged with a unique flair, La Boum is sure to get your feet moving and bring the party-vibe to your event!
