His career officially kicked off in 2009. He didn’t have a lot of resources to keep developing his career by then, but Kabza knew what he wanted. He kept on pushing and followed his dream to have his skills in being a DJ polished. When he started his career he was into so many genres that ranged from Afro-fused house to EDMs.

It was only in 2016, that he released his first album, Avenue Sounds. The album was an instant hit and got the approval of fans. Kabza said he loved and appreciated the support that he got from his fans for his work. This also made his hit ‘Uber Everywhere’ become one of his greatest songs to be released.

Fast forward to 2018, Kabzza De Small did it yet again by releasing other great tracks. He gained major attention for releasing “Amabele Shaya” and “Umshove” featuring vocals from his Amapiano counterpart Leehleza.

Kabza De Small has also had some collaborations with DJ Maphorisa which birthed the Scorpion Kings. The duo had a tremendous 2019, causing havoc on the streets of Mzansi with their hit songs and killer EPs. It is no secret that the genre Amapiano has been taking over the airwaves and party-goers in Mzansi cannot seem to get enough of them.

Kabza took to Twitter to ask his partner in crime, DJ Maporisa if they should host a live show in May at the multi-purpose world-class venue, Sun Arena at Time Square in Pretoria. Sadly, the event has been cancelled because of the Coronavirus and everyone in the country is on lockdown.

Who says, the lockdown has to be boring anyway? Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa want to keep the fans entertained from the comfort of their homes.

According to an article published by Times Live, Phori had this to say about the PianoHub;

“PianoHub is a movement that has transformed to cater for fans during this time. Our fans will be able to stream it on all digital platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and any available streaming service,” commented Phori.

Maphorisa has given fans a taste of what to expect when he shared some visuals of how the set will look like.
