In 2001 Joe Mann joined TUKS FM, the campus radio station for the University of Pretoria. This afforded him the opportunity to become a part of commercial radio. His professional career began when he read weekend sports for Kevin Fine, along with drive time sports with Gareth Cliff on weekdays. Not content to settle as a radio personality, his love of sport created and avenue to television and since 2005 he has been doing voice-overs for Soccer Africa, Football Africa and African Stars in Europe all on channel 203 DSTV. In 2006, after a 2 year stint at 5fm, he joined Metro FM as a producer on the Avenue 326 for Glen Lewis. Then a producer/ co-presenter on Azania Ndoro’s Total Bliss show. Currently Joe Mann is reading sports on the Touchdown 326, the flagship show for Metro FM which commands a listenership of 6 million South Africans, to over 700000 daily listeners.
•MC at Pretoria University events, most notably the Freedom day celebrations and TUKS Rag.
•Worked at 5fm in 2004 when Kevin’s Rise ‘n Fine needed a sports presenter. •In 2005 Joe Mann was promoted to the Gareth Cliff Afternoon Drive Show

•Joined Metro FM in 2006 as a producer for the Avenue 326 with Glen Lewis. • Producer for Total Bliss with Azania the following year where he re-emerged as a co-presenter.
