Dorette Roos is a dynamic electric cellist and accomplished performer whose unique sound blends classical training with contemporary style, creating a striking musical experience for modern events.

Originally from Cape Town, Dorette completed her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the United States, and later obtained her Master of Music from Stellenbosch University and the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria. She was a permanent member of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra for a decade before expanding her career into the world of electric strings and live event performance.

Today, Dorette is a sought-after solo performer and collaborator, known for her expressive electric cello performances that span classical crossover, pop, lounge, and contemporary music.
