National champion in the Carlsberg Chill Dj competition (2016), been a champion run up deejay in 2 consecutive years 2014-2015 in the Carlsberg chill deejays battle national competition.

Opening act for the coming Heavy K Africa tour 2019, Deejayed for Zanda Zakuza on her Malawi Tour 2019, in 2016 Dj Trick was the main and only act in Gaborone Botswana for the Malawis independence celebration organized by society of Malawians in Botswana (SOMABO). In the same year he performed at the Lake of Stars, one of the highly rated festivals in Africa. The 2015 headliner DJ at the likoma beach festival, the festival that took place at the Likoma Island on Lake Malawi.

Dj Trick has been the only opening act for the following Africas well known icons : Heavy K (South Africa) , Dj S’bu (South Africa), Dj Ganyani (South Africa), Dj Stavo (Zimbabwe), Destruction Boyz (South Africa) and was a DJ for Zanda Zakuza (South Africa) – Malawi tour.
