Stu Machinya, professionally known as DJ Stunna, is a Cape Town-based DJ, model and creative whose international experience and eclectic musical style have established her as a versatile presence across the club, lifestyle and events scene.

Stunna’s journey behind the decks began while living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she performed at the renowned Zouk. Her career later took her to Singapore, and while modelling internationally she performed at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week official after-party and a Formula 1 after-party, alongside being featured in a Martini international F1 campaign.

After returning to Cape Town, Stunna further developed her craft through professional DJ training at Cape Audio College. Having previously managed Souk, she transitioned behind the decks as a resident DJ at Souk and its sister venue, COCO.

Musically, Stunna moves confidently between Deep House, South African House, R&B, Hip-Hop and Afrobeats, allowing her to tailor her sets to different audiences and environments. Her background in fashion and modelling adds a distinctive visual edge to her performances, with previous commercial work including brands such as H&M, Foschini, Specsavers and Standard Bank.
