In 2009 DiloXcusiv produced his first release, which was featured on Mxizo Lona’s Album Wenzani Ndikujongile. The success of this release led to high profile performances at some of the most popular nightclubs, festivals and venue in the Western Cape. Following these achievements, Dilo was chosen to be the resident DJ for the Cool Britannia Music Festival in Cape Town during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

I believe in brand growth and consistence, maintaining a 15yrs old dj career and still remain relevant is a tough job in Cape Town. Through my traveling and learning about the different cultures and different people I play for, I managed to plough back in Cape Town and formed a concept that created the first INDIBANO event which was held in Gugulethu.
