Basadi Women of Jazz is a Johannesburg-based all-female jazz ensemble that has built a strong reputation for combining musicianship, stage presence and a distinctly South African sound. Active since the late 1990s, the group was founded to challenge the idea of jazz as a male-dominated space and has since become known for polished live performances that blend jazz, Afro-pop, blues and popular South African favourites.

Led by founder, flautist and vocalist Mabatho Masopha, the ensemble has performed extensively both locally and internationally. Their career highlights include appearances in Europe and Asia, performances linked to the Nelson Mandela Exhibition in Paris, and live appearances for dignitaries including former President Nelson Mandela. The group has also shared stages with major South African artists such as Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba, Judith Sephuma, Brenda Fassie, Letta Mbulu and Caiphus Semenya.
