Aidin Caye is a South African DJ, producer and songwriter who has built a strong reputation within the country’s electronic music scene through his distinctive blend of house, melodic techno and groove-driven electronic music. Based in Johannesburg, his career spans more than a decade, beginning when he started DJing at just 16 years old.

His breakthrough as a producer came with “Reflections” featuring Ziyon of Liquideep, released through Universal Music South Africa. A later reworking with producer Mark DVB gained significant traction, charting across South African radio, Apple Music and the national Shazam chart.

Aidin followed this with “Hypnotize”, which became one of his standout independent releases, surpassing one million streams and reaching the Top 20 of South Africa’s Shazam chart. His 2020 project Connections further showcased his evolution as a producer, while collaborations with artists including TiMO ODV, Apple Gule, Kylah Jasmine, Ziyon and Mark DVB have demonstrated his versatility across the electronic music spectrum.

Beyond performing, Aidin has worked extensively behind the scenes in the music industry, including experience within Soul Candi Records and Universal Music South Africa. He has also been involved in artist marketing and development, giving him a broader understanding of both the creative and commercial sides of the music business.
