Born and raised in Ocean View, Cape Town. A Graduate of the Waterfront Theatre School, Songwriter of 7 number 1 National hit singles, cofounder and Lead Singer of the South African SAMA award winning band BlackByrd, Opening act for the international band Mike and the Mechanics, Patrizio Buanarte, amiroquai and actress in Binnerlanders and and the Kyknet Drama series, Suidooster.

Tarryn’s vast musical and live performance experiences, from her international shows in Germany, Dubai, Seychelles, Zambia and nationally, from the stages of David Kramer’s musical, “Songbook” through to the magical world of Madame Zingara’s Theatre of Dreams, has allowed her to carve out and hone her belief in how music can powerfully transform, heal and uplift the world.

For an evening of sheer musical celebration, supported by a live 4 piece band, Tarryn Lamb performs an amazing cross-section of a wide variety of musical genres to cover all tastes.
