SUGA is one of South Africa’s most recognized Radio personalities. Her charismatic and bubbly personality continues to be a firm favorite with so many listeners. It all began in 1997 when starting as a late night DJ for Good Hope FM and worked her way to becoming the first female DJ to have a Primetime, weekday slot on commercial music format radio in the city.  SUGA was also the first woman to captain a Weekday Breakfast Show in South Africa.

After 14 Years of working with Good Hope FM , in April 2011, SUGA moved to Heart 104.9FM where she continues to inspire others with her passionate love for music and the important role music plays in our lives and is currently on the drive time show from 3pm to 6pm. Her show “In the Mix” has been nominated as the Best Night Time Show for the MTN Radio Awards.

Born in Cape Town, SUGA can be best described as kind, passionate, dynamic, driven, vibrant, modest, humble and a definite live-wire who appeals to a wide audience and is popular with audiences of all ages, races and cultures  She is also an accomplished public speaker and DJ who has played sets with DJ Ready D, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Green Lantern (Eminem’s Official DJ) just to name a few and enjoyed numerous residencies in and around Cape Town

Host of the inaugural 46664 Concert in Cape Town.
The 2003 46664 Concert held in Cape Town features her voice on DVD and CD Co-Hosting Host of the 46664 Concert, 19 March 2005 at Fancourt Hotel and Country Club, with Will Smith.
Co – hosting 46664 Arctic Concert in Tromso Norway 11 June 2005.
The 46664 concert was broadcast on SABC television, SABC Africa and globally with a total audience of billions of people.
