SOWETO SPIRITUAL SINGERS is a 19 vocal ensemble, accompanied by dancers and a 5 piece band showcasing our diverse Spiritual African Music & Diaspora to the World and its diverse forms. Our energetic performances accompanied with dance, ululating and exhilarating towering of Joy.  We collaborated (Recorded) and performed 2010 FIFA theme Song “Sign of a Victory” with R. Kelly at the Opening Ceremony for 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in Johannesburg. We have for the past 5years extensively toured Africa and Europe, we just returned again from Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014 in Scotland, United Kingdom.

Our Music is truly inspirational, a shout of Joy, a towering onslaught of exuberance with earthy rhythms, rich harmonies to uplift the soul. A truly ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE

Soweto Spiritual Singers is under the Direction if it’s Founders and Creators Nkululeko Vilakazi; Vicky Vilakazi; Thabo Ledimo and Gift Vilakazi-Ledimo.

A true celebration and unifying sounds as we sing all this genres in one accord and voice, with the fusion of the township culture and its influence in our modern Spiritual music, all this forms part of our 90 minute journey of praise as we dance, clap, shout and ululate.
