Siphumelele Zondi is the creator, senior producer and anchor of Network – what is now the premiere technology and social media television news programme in South Africa. It is on SABC News, DSTV 404. He also lectures in the Bachelor of Journalism programme at the Durban University of Technology (DUT).

Siphumelele has ploughed his skills at CNBC Africa, eTV and the SABC’s Channel Africa radio.

He also is contributor, mostly on technology and travel, on UKhozi FM – South Africa’s largest radio station on listener numbers, Vuma FM and Channel Africa; apart from giving analysis on Tru FM, Ligwalagwala FM and Metro FM.

He also lectures in Media and journalism at the Durban University of Technology (DUT) and has previously lectured at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Siphumelele holds a Master of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies with a focus on New Developments in Digital Media from Sussex University.

He has also been previously named as one of the top 200 Young South Africans by the Mail & Guardian in its prestigious annual Young South Africans (YSA) list.
