Rumswinger are a brand new, slamming 1920’s Electro-swing outfit based in Cape Town, South Africa.

A “get-up and have-it” band with deep electro beats, a tinge of Balkan with a front-line holding sax, trumpet and trombone, layered with French guitar work and wild percussion.
This Hot 6 piece consists of Carla Louw on vocals, Trombone and guitars from The McDonald’s brothers at Hey Papa Legend studios with Lee “Lips” Thompson on Trumpet, Simon Bates on Sax, Israeli genius Joe Congo on percussion and Andrew F playing the big back-beats.
