Pilani Bubu is a South African Singer-Songwriter and Creative Lifestyle Activist who boasts two recorded EP’s under her belt, entitled “Journey of A Heart Part I and II” “Heartache Is Always Relevant” and “Warrior Of Light” (available on all digital platforms). Her third and fourth forth-coming EP’s and show concepts include ‘Out The Box’ and ‘Out Of Africa’.

The Pan African Artist and Activists’ live performance now comes with a compounded offering, inclusive of Out of Africa – an Afro Folk Jazz Live Big Band experience with looped vocal sounds. This is a celebration of African Folklore, which helps to preserve the beauty of African tribal writing styles and rhythms. Celebrating ways of telling African stories, sharing our beliefs and preserving our heritage.

Out The Box is an Electro Soul Lounge & House experience with DJ & Vocals. This show is about going beyond our own limitations. Talking to the consciousness of the evolving human, breaking out of societal conditioning and the boxes that seek to define who we are.

This makes for 4 hours worth of music and integrated stories of the Journey of A Heart. Self-proclaimed ‘jazzy folk soul’ artist best exemplifies the complementing of organic music and authentic style. Her music is novel and has evolved into a unique fusion of genres, old souled, and yet so catchy with a cohesive global sound.

Pilani Bubu currently has a performance footprint in New Orleans, New York, Nigeria, Nairobi, Mozambique and Ghana, making repeat visits and is still building!
