After a chance meeting in 2007, South Africans Pascal Ellinas and Dave Pearce began the stellar and versatile production/DJ duo Pascal & Pearce. Pascal & Pearce are known for their ability to play at any venue, be it large scale festivals or intimate poolside events, their sets have been described as dirty, progressive, driving, funky, melodic and energetic. They also currently hold a weekly prime time residency mix every Thursday at 6:30pm on one of South Africa’s top national radio stations, 5FM.

Pascal & Pearce’s musical contributions have been well recognized in South Africa, and they have been nominated for 3 SAMAs (South African Music Awards) in the Best Dance Album and Best Remix categories in 2012 and 2013. They have collaborated and remixed with many local and international acts such as, Shortstraw, Ryan Murgatroyd, Blasterjaxx, Polina Griffith, Duck Sauce, Quilla, Gold Fish, LCNVL, Nicky Romero, London Gramma, Phunk Inverstigation, Cara Frew, Da L.E.S, Jesse Clegg, Ard Matthews, Flash Republic, Zebra & Giraffe, Goodluck, Above & Beyond, Roger Sanchez, Alex Kenji, Childish Gambino, Wretch 32 & Example, Nadia Ali, Ian Carey, Starkillers, Treasure Fingers, DubVision and David Jones.

They have released three full studio albums with 7 singles reached top 10 status on the local Top 40, with 3 of those singles entering the top 5, and two of them peaking at number 1. During that time their single Disco Sun was also signed to Spinnin.
‘One Night Only’, their latest studio album was released in October 2013. Their first single ‘Desperado’, featuring LCNVL went to number 1 on national radio and charted in the top 10 of the most played/purchased songs in South Africa of 2013. ‘Desperado’ was also a number 1 on the local MTV Dance chart. The Album was number 1 on the iTunes Dance chart and peaked at number 7 on the overall South African chart. They have also had their music featured on over 20 compilation discs, including multiple Ministry of Sound albums. Their single, ‘Poppin’, which features a massive collaboration with local Hip-Hop sensation Da L.E.S, was released in December 2014, and peaked at #2 on the local Top 40 Chart.
In 2016 Pascal & Pearce signed with Universal Music and have released their first official remix through UMG called Playmen & Vassy – I Should Of Said (Pascal & Pearce Remix)

Pascal & Pearce look set to keep people dancing, the world over in 2017 with a lot of new original tracks set for release.
