From the stage to the Heart
“Next Level: From The Stage To The Heart” is a vocal tour de force which brings together the soaring talents of renowned Jhb singer Vicky Sampson and PE’s own vocalist Thuba Myeki.
Vicky Sampson is known for her powerful voice and her iconic hit “My African Dream,” which has become an unofficial anthem for the nation.
Audiences are taken on an intimate journey featuring an inspirational songbook echoing favourite songs, pivotal moments, inspirations and life-changing events that shaped their artistry and music from 35 years of our South African musical History. The show embraces the theme of “Everybody has a Dream” and is inspirational and aspirational, from Start to finish.
The show is designed to blend music, narrative, and visuals in a way that connects the audience deeply to their personal evolutions, sharing anecdotes, lessons learned, and influences behind each song. The Show has a playful intergenerational spin, since Thuba Myeki was born the very year Vicky Sampson came to the attention of South African audiences.
There is currently 100 minutes of repertoire that is especially designed to potentially act as “wrapping paper” for launches and awards ceremonies.
The show is available in three formats :
