Ndu Shezi is a Durban-born South African singer, songwriter and versatile vocalist whose music combines Afro-Pop, soul, jazz, gospel and contemporary African sounds. She began her professional performing career after matriculating from Bechet High School and went on to study Jazz and Popular Music at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Ndu has built an impressive career working as both a lead and backing vocalist, collaborating with artists including Sjava, Musa Keys, Khaya Mthethwa, Naima Kay, Loyiso Bala and American saxophonist Salim Washington. Her versatility has allowed her to perform across genres ranging from jazz and Afro-Pop to gospel and contemporary music.

She has performed at numerous jazz festivals and major events in South Africa and has also taken her music internationally, performing in countries including Zambia, Cameroon, Kenya, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique and the United States. She was a finalist in Popstars 2010, a Top 30 contestant on Idols Season 8, and was part of the winning Team Khaya on the first season of Clash of the Choirs South Africa.

Ndu was also a member of the renowned gospel group Joyous Celebration, further establishing her reputation as a powerful and experienced vocalist. She has appeared as a featured vocalist on various recordings and has continued developing her own identity as a solo artist.

In 2024, Ndu released her debut solo album, Isibusiso Sami, marking an important milestone in her career and allowing her to fully express her own musical vision. Her more recent releases include Nhliziyo, Ngibuyele Kuwe and Ngowakho (Ngisebenzise).

With her powerful voice, extensive stage experience and ability to move comfortably between different musical styles, Ndu Shezi is well suited to concerts, jazz festivals, gospel events, corporate functions, conferences, cultural celebrations, weddings and premium live entertainment events.
