Violinist & composer, Naomi Tagg has performed in over 18 countries and on 3 continents over the last 12 years, captivating audiences worldwide with her unique style and versatility as a violinist. Equipped with her lively personality and rebellious attitude, Naomi’s performances range from Ibiza-style lounge and pop to dance floor bangers, explosive classical crossover shows and powerful film/gaming-style performances. When she’s not on the stage, Naomi is pushing musical boundaries in the studio with her various projects ranging from film music to pop. She released her debut album, Neolektra Birth of a Heroine to international acclaim and gave a debut performance live on BBC Radio London. She was also invited to perform at the world’s second largest arts festival National Arts Festival (South Africa) in 2017 with her band Neolektra.
Naomi’s new pop duo with producer/keyboardist Matthias Bakker, is a fun twist on the acoustic cover band showcasing their versatility across genres with their laid-back, feel-good sound.
Naomi has travelled the world as a solo electric violinist and with South Africa’s first female electric string quartet (Muse SQ), performing in the Seychelles, Mauritius, Monaco, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Bahrain, Victoria Falls in Zambia, South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique and the fjords in Norway. She has performed for global celebrities, royalty, leading political figures and has been part of the opening acts for Sir Elton John; John Legend; Celine Dion; Michael Bolton and Soweto String Quartet.
Whilst spending 7 years in the UK trying to break away from conventional musical avenues and forge a path as a solo violinist, Naomi performed at many of London’s prestigious venues and events including London Fashion Week and Wimbledon Tennis Championships, British & European cruise ships, exclusive parties and night clubs and high-end corporate functions for some of the world’s largest brands.
She has released an internationally acclaimed debut album for her string band, Neolektra, composed, recorded and produced in England with producer Anders Kallmark. They marked their 2014 release with a live performance on BBC Radio London and thereafter relocated to South Africa where they were selected to perform at the 2017 Grahamstown National Arts Festival Main stage.

Naomi is an eclectic musician and performer and can also be found rocking the dance floor with her electric violin where she’s performed alongside DJs across the world, from the nightlife of Manchester and the clubs of London, to the parties of Monaco and the beaches of Bahrain.
