Based: Cape Town
I have been playing professionally since 1995. I started playing the cover scene in London and then joined an original band in London as a vocalist, on my return to South Africa in 2000 I joined and formed the band Kelvin Declined, which was signed to local record label Rhythm Records and later Legend Music. With 5 songs off the debut album being play listed on National radio as well the video for the single “42” being played on MTV, the band played all major music festivals in South Africa. I later went on to form the band MCCREE and I am presently working on the bands second full length album, MCCREE’s debut album was released through SONY Records and the single “ When I was 17” was voted in the top 100 songs on 5FM for 2012.
I also gigs as a solo artist playing both older and up to date songs, I gig simply as a vocalist with acoustic guitar. I have played corporate shows for Brandhouse and Porsche (as the band MCCREE).
