FRANCESCA BIANCOLI
Francesca Biancoli is a vocalist from Bari in South Italy. She has a Masters degree in Jazz Voice from the Conservatory of Bologna in Bologna Italy. She has participated in numerous seminars and master classes, studying with Maria Pia de Vito, Roberta Gambarini, Susanna Boots, Bob Stoloff, Rachel Gould, Michele Hendrincks, Gege Telesforo, Sarah Jane Morris, Anne Ducros, Tuck and Patty, Paolo Fresu, Dennis Montgomery III , Joey Blake, Cinzia Spata, Stefania Rava, Mimi ‘Rohlfing, Kurt Elling and Norma Winstone.

Francesca has played with Pierluigi Villani, Vincenzo Maurogiovanni, Alberto Iovene, Vito Di Modugno, Pasquale Sweater, Michele Di Monte, Paul the Great, Luigi Catella, Fabrizio Savino, Aldo Bucci, Massimiliano Coclide, Bruno Marcozzi and Vince Abbracciante.  Francesca won a scholarship to the prestigious Berklee Music School (Boston) and won an award for best talent and outstanding musicianship from the Umbria Jazz festival in 2009. In 2010 she won a prize at the Arcevia Jazz Festival to study in Cape Town for two months where she has performed with some of Cape Towns greatest such as Alvin Dyers , Mark Fransman, Kevin Gibson, Nicholas Williams, Rus Nerwich, Dan Shout, Shane Cooper, Chas Keenan, Ahrends and Mike Rossi.  She continues to perform in Italy and South Africa and is the leader of a jazz quintet under her own name and performs an Amy Winehouse tribute called, “Remembering
Amy”.
