Darryn Govender is a 23 year-old rising musician, born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa. An RnB, Soul and Pop singer/songwriter and guitarist, he believes in creating and performing interesting and meaningful music that people can feel and emotionally relate to.

This self-taught creative has performed on several great platforms all throughout Cape Town, such as The Cape Town Stadium, The Baxter Theatre, The Artscape Theatre, The V & A Waterfront, and Cafe Roux, just to name a few.

Known for his distinctive acoustic sound and musicality, coupled with soulful vocals, while also having played many venues as lead vocalist in a full band setting, he is a consummate live performer that plays with his heart.

His debut release of original music, the emotional piano-driven ballad, ‘The Way That You Do’, premiered on the 14th of August 2020.

On the 28th of May 2021, he releases his brand new Neo Soul bop, ‘Face Like Home’
