Dan Lu is a Malawian South African based Afro-Pop musician who was born on the 26th of July 1987 in Malawi. His music career spans over 11 years and has an estimated fan base of 1.1 million in a country whose population is over 13 million.
The best 2011 Afro-pop music category awarding winner recently launched his album entitled ‘Sorry’ in December last year (2014). The artist has done collaborations with other African artists chief among them The Third; K-Millan both from Zambia and Nameless from Kenya; Dizzy Don from Zimbabwe; Tay Grin from Malawi and Bongani Fassie from South-Africa. He also has a talent for different instruments like the keyboard and has experience in studio arrangement. The artist has so so far recorded four albums namely ‘Shupie’; ‘Khaze’; ‘No Size’ and ‘So What’. His last album ‘So What’ features renowned artists such Missionaries; Piksy and the Orga Family.
