Bontle Modiselle-Moloi is one of South Africa’s most dynamic multi-disciplinary entertainers, combining an established career in television presenting, dance, choreography, acting and live event hosting with an energetic and highly engaging stage presence.
Bontle began her professional journey through dance, building her reputation as both a performer and choreographer. Her choreography credits include Lip Sync Battle Africa, the MTV Africa Music Awards, and major live productions including Castle Lite Unlocks. She has also worked across music videos, live shows and large-scale entertainment productions.
Her transition into television saw her co-host SABC2’s Showville before joining Lawrence Maleka as presenter of e.tv’s Club 808. She subsequently hosted SABC1’s rap competition One Mic and co-hosted the 27th South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
As an actress, Bontle made a significant breakthrough in the South African dance film Hear Me Move, earning an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Her screen career has continued to evolve, including a role in Netflix’s Piano Love.
Beyond entertainment, Bontle is an entrepreneur and creative director and has established her own dance studio in Johannesburg, extending her influence into dance education and the development of the next generation of performers.
