BLOW Electroband is a dynamic South African electronic live-music trio that fuses DJ-driven production with the energy and spontaneity of live saxophone and percussion. The group comprises Sisco Umlambo, Denzil on Sax and Pano, combining electronic rhythms, urban sound design and live instrumentation to create a sophisticated, high-energy performance.
Designed for audiences who want the impact of a DJ set with the visual and musical excitement of live musicians, BLOW moves effortlessly through deep house, Afro house and contemporary electronic sounds. Their combination of saxophone, percussion and electronic production gives the act a distinctive club-inspired feel while retaining the interaction and presence of a live band.
The trio has established itself on the Gauteng entertainment circuit, performing at lifestyle venues, premium events and celebrations. Past appearances include Constantia in the City at Workshop17 in Rosebank, where BLOW provided the live entertainment for the Constantia Wine Route’s Johannesburg showcase, as well as performances in Pretoria.
BLOW is also a recording act. Their Quarantine Love EP was released through Multi-Racial Records and features the tracks Quarantine Love featuring Blake, Hanging On featuring Mahachi and the instrumental Dawn of the Sax. The release moves between deep house and Afro house and showcases the group’s blend of electronic production and live musicianship.
On stage, BLOW Electroband delivers a stylish, contemporary and highly visual performance, with the saxophone providing melodic flair, live percussion driving the rhythm and the DJ/electronic component keeping the music flowing. The format works particularly well for sophisticated cocktail environments before building naturally into an energetic party or dance-floor set.
