Bianca Joy Le Grange is a celebrated South African singer, actress, musician, television presenter and performer whose versatile career spans over two decades. She first rose to national prominence as a Top 4 finalist on the inaugural season of Idols South Africa (2002), showcasing her powerful vocals and multi-instrumental talent in both piano and violin.

Born in Kimberley and raised in Bushkoppies, Johannesburg, Bianca grew up in a musical family and received extensive training at The National School of the Arts, where she studied classical and contemporary music alongside dance disciplines.

Following Idols, Bianca established herself as a multifaceted entertainer — releasing four studio albums, staging acclaimed live productions such as Bianca and the Swing Sisters, Bianca Revealed and Now and Then, and performing across Africa, Europe and South America.

Her stage career is equally distinguished: Bianca has starred in major musical theatre productions including Janice Honeyman’s Cinderella and Snow White, and earned a Naledi Theatre Award for her performance in David Kramer’s Blood Brothers. She was also cast as Anita in West Side Story, earning a Fleur du Cap nomination.

Bianca’s screen work includes her first film role in Leon Schuster’s Pay Back the Money and a role in the Mzansi Magic drama The Mayor. She has also hosted television shows, including the SABC 1 music programme One, and continued her media presence with other presenting and guest appearances.

In recent years, she has been honoured with a star at Johannesburg’s Roodepoort Theatre as part of its legacy celebration, recognising her contribution to South Africa’s cultural landscape.
