Based: Port Elizabeth

Bevin Samuels is a solo vocalist from Port Elizabeth. He discovered his love for music at a very young age and has decided to pursue a musical career.

Although Bevin only entered the Idols competition this year, he has been performing at events since 2011. He has performed at a variety of functions and events ranging from corporates, to nightclubs, charity shows, beauty pageants as well as church events. Some of these events include the Health Department’s Drug Awareness Campaign in 2012;  the Department of Social Development’s Celebration Concert in 2012;  Shatterpruff’s Family Day in 2013; the DNT Talent Search in 2013 which he won; the Department of Arts and Culture’s Heritage Day Celebrations in 2014, the NMMU 2015 Gala Dinner, 2015’s Northern Arts Festival Heritage Day event and recently at the DSTV Delicious Festival. This has allowed Bevin to perfect his craft and his ability to be versatile. His performances range from very high-energy, up-tempo dance music to laid back lounge or dinner-style music. His repertoire covers songs from a wide range of music styles & eras; stretching from 70’s Motown & Soul hits to the latest chart toppers.

Regarded as the ‘new kid on the block’, Bevin is set on becoming one of the best and most sought after live musical acts and recording artists in South Africa.
