Amanda du-Pont is an accomplished Eswatini-born actress, television presenter, model, entrepreneur and event host who has built a prominent career across Southern Africa’s entertainment and media industries. Known for her polished screen presence and strong personal brand, Amanda brings together entertainment, fashion, wellness and entrepreneurship.
Amanda became widely recognised through television roles including Muvhango, Generations, Intersexions, A Place Called Home, City Ses’la and the hugely popular Skeem Saam, where she portrayed Nompumelelo “Lelo” Mthiyane. Her international screen credits include the American drama Life Is Wild, while her film work includes Between Friends, Hear Me Move and Final Cut. She also appeared in the Netflix series Shadow, extending her profile to an international streaming audience.
As a television personality, Amanda has hosted and presented several major programmes, most notably The Real Goboza, as well as BET A-List, Man Cave, Biting About and Come Duze. Her experience across live television, presenting and entertainment makes her equally comfortable as a corporate MC, awards host and lifestyle-event personality.
A trained performer, Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from AFDA – The School for the Creative Economy and further studied Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy, after receiving a scholarship in recognition of her performance ability.
