Aisha Baker founded BakedOnline in 2009 when launching her first blog bakedtheblog.com as a first year student. After graduating from the University of Cape Town with her Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Aisha spent some time working in Fashion retail and manufacturing before turning her blog into a business! “I am pretty blessed to run a business I am so passionate about, Baked is all about getting high on life, being fiercely feminine and inspiring women across South Africa and the world.” Aisha was nominated by Nickelodeon as their favorite African blogger at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2016 and received Glamour South Africa’s glamorous woman of the year award in the same year. She hopes to create a space where women can interact with content that is relevant to their lives in Southern Africa. Aisha’s biggest dream is for BakedOnline to be the number one female portal in South Africa and to continue to inspire women by fervently following her dreams.
