Abafazi be Ngoma was formed in a drum circle Jam with 6 ladies with the same passion of Drums, then grew to an inspiring all female Drumming , Dancing, Singing, Acting and Adrian indigenous instruments Band which has been traveling the world doing Cover versions of Hit African Songs. This is a band made by women for other women to see the power we hold as one .
Abafazi be Ngoma is looking are doing projects that will bring women together and grooming young womaen so we can play our part in making sure our culture is not forgotten. Absfazi be Ngoma’s main objective is to break the stereo type that Women cannot work together and Women can not play drums and also that woman cannot go into business together.
- Perform and produce African raw sounds.
- to motivate and inspire young, old, any race and size of women africa and the world at large positively.
- to tell their stories through performance and create dialogue to expose, discuss debate and negotiate woman’s challenges and achievements.
- to create a new platform where Women are involved in transformation and effects thereof.
