Afrotraction, the stage name of Mzwandile “Wandile” Moya, is an award-winning South African singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his sophisticated fusion of Afro-soul, R&B, neo-soul and smooth jazz.
Originally from Nelspruit, Mpumalanga, Afrotraction is a self-taught musician who plays piano, bass and guitar, in addition to writing, producing and performing his own music. His warm, soulful voice and romantic songwriting have made him a recognised name within South African contemporary soul.
His breakthrough album Soulfully Yours produced the much-loved “Ngeke K’Lunge,” while subsequent releases including For The Lovers, Love & Respect, Relationships, The Launch of JazzYano and Africa. Love. Music have demonstrated his versatility across soul, jazz, Afro-pop and contemporary African music.
