Joanne Joseph presented SABC 3’s evening bulletin “The News at 7’ and is now seen on e.tv News Channel.
As a corporate MC (in either English and/or French), her clients have included CNN African Journalist of the Year 2004 * MTN * PG Glass  * SAPPI  * SAA * The National Business Initiative * Standard Bank * First National Bank * Afrox Healthcare (now Life Healthcare)
Joanne Joseph is often called-upon to anchor corporate videos for clients such as FNB, Standard Bank, MTN and PG Glass.
Her broadcasting career began at YFM radio as a news presenter radio in 1998. She obtained a distinction in the Unisa Radio and Actuality course in 1998, which enabled her to train up-and-coming newsreaders for stations such as Voice of Wits. She then moved to Classic FM, Network Radio News and Business Day as a producer/presenter. In 1999 she took up the position of producer/presenter at SABC Africa, a job that involved copy-tasting scripts, writing, editing and researching news packages.  At this time, the writing and voicing of promotional material for the channel was outsourced to her.
She freelanced as Bulletin Editor/Executive Producer at SABC Africa and has also scripted and produced corporate videos and produced documentaries for the United Nations Development Programme among others.
Joanne Joseph completed her Bachelors Degree in Drama and Film at Wits University and followed this up with an Honours Degree in European Literature in 2002. She has appeared on the SABC’s “On Camera” Business Beat”, ”Newshour”, “Morning Live” and “World Wrap” programmes, also producing the latter for two years. She has done several high-profile live Outside Broadcasts including the Presidential Inauguration, the Walter Sisulu funeral, Beyers Naudé’s funeral and the Raymond Mhlaba funeral. 
 
She has also trained corporate media liaison officers and company executives in media management, the handling of live interviews and how to run a successful PR campaign. Her clients in the regard include Uthingo, UCT’s MBA students and Gauteng Tourism.  Joanne has just completed a Masters Degree in Literature at Wits University.
